As early as 1952, our founder, Mr. Abraham Herschlag, with his satchel of watchbands was a familiar sight selling to jewelry stores and watchmakers in the New York metropolitan area. In 1957 Mr. Herschlag established the company at its first location in Manhattan's 47th street Diamond Center. Back then, in the pre-internet days, "Herschlag" was the highlighted listing in the yellow pages under watchbands.

Our present CEO, Mr. Herschlag's son, Isaac, joined the firm in 1973 and expanded the operation to include all types of findings such as beads, chains, settings, and assorted locks and clasps. We are at the forefront of the industry, constantly improving our line by adding new styles and stocking existing items in more qualities and colors. Today, as one of America's leading findings companies, we are the source for the designer/model maker looking to make a prototype, or the repair jeweler looking to match a setting. Our platinum collection, from a simple ball stud earring to a 6 carat heart shape setting, in stock and ready to ship is what sets Herschlag apart from the rest, and is the basis for the trust and reliability that our customers have come to know. Our unique chains, many of them Herschlag exclusives, are stocked, spooled and cut to your order, with certain styles available carded in standard lengths. Our staff has gained an industry-wide reputation for going the extra mile with personal customer care. From watchbands to over 25,000 items is a long way, and though watchbands are no longer part of our inventory, the same dedicated, courteous and professional service is very much alive and well here at A. Herschlag Inc.

• No warranty is given for any item with a spring mechanism or if a jeweler did any work with the item
